In what condition are the skis you offer for sale?

Throughout the rental seasons, our ski equipment has always been maintained with our Reichman machines. We have ensured the quality of the structure of the skis as well as their durability.

All used ski equipment offered on Skioccas is fully serviced in our workshop, including flattening, sharpening, waxing and disinfecting ski boots.

Our team of professionals checks the proper functioning and safety of the ski/snowboard and the bindings. To ensure your safety, any equipment with a defect is withdrawn from sale.

In order to offer you a quality skiing experience, we have decided to be transparent with our customers. To avoid any unpleasant surprises, we have classified our equipment into three states of wear (1-2-3) according to different criteria:

• The year of manufacture.
• The state of wear of the silk-screen printing.
• The state of the sole and the edge.
• The state of wear of the binding.

CONDITION 1: USED SKIS AND SNOWBOARDS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION

• Sole perfectly filled, structured and waxed. Edges sharpened. The equipment has been well cared for and can be used for many more seasons.
• Topsheet with some scratches but no big snags (no part has come off).
• Bindings may have some scratches from use.

CONDITION 2: USED EQUIPMENT WITH MORE WEAR AND TEAR

Second hand ski equipment in condition 2 shows some signs of wear, but the equipment retains all its technical and safety properties!

• The sole is perfectly filled, structured and waxed. The edge is sharpened and the sole thickness is correct.
• Topsheet may have small or large dents and scratches.
• Bindings with more pronounced scratches from use.

STATE 3 : EQUIPMENT WITH DEGRADED SERIGRAPHY BUT STILL PERFORMING WELL

Condition 3 includes second hand skis and snowboards with scratches from use or damage but which have no influence on the performance or safety of the equipment.

• The sole is perfectly filled, structured and waxed. Sharpened edge. The material has already been used a lot and there is not much sole or edge thickness left for further maintenance.
• Topsheet has several large dents that damage the silkscreen but do not affect the performance of the material.
• Bindings may show more wear and tear.

STATE OF WEAR OF OUR SKI BOOTS OR SNOWBOARD BOOTS

Essential equipment for your ski outings, all the boots offered for sale on SkiOccas are in good condition, with a few scratches from use. Just like used skis and snowboards, the ski boots are overhauled and/or repaired by our experts. They are also cleaned and disinfected before each shipment.
